The Trek

Getting there

• From North-South highway towards Ipoh take the exit onto Rawang toll
• Turn right onto Jalan Batu Arang towards Rawang town
• Follow Route 1 heading Serendah, Rasa, Kuala Kubu Bharu
• Turn right toward Route 55 heading Fraser Hill, Raub
• Turn left onto Route 56 (Fraser Hill)
• Take the 1st exit onto Jalan Genting at the roudabout
• Turn left onto Jalan Pokok Pines
• Take the 1st elft onto Jalan High Pines

Exploring Pine Tree Hill

Pine Tree Hill with the height of 1456 meter a.s.l. access by end of High Pines Road.  The trail is well maintain with many sign boards show the distance you have done. The trail with multiple ascents and descents total almost 2000 meter altitude but difference between the trail head and summit is just less than 200 meter.  It means that you might not have much advantage of descent like others mountain.
