Guide : No but recommended to go with someone who's knows to trail well or experience hikers or engage the local guide there, you need permission from the management before hike (Less than 10 pax without know the trail well is not allowed according to the person in charge).

Exploring Bukit Bintongan

Bukit Bintongan located in Kampung Bintongan near Rembau Negeri Sembilan with the height of 842 meter a.s.l. I came across to know this mountain last year because of THCM group were trying to open a trail from Bukit Bintongan to Gunung Pasir. Credit to those group who's reopen this Bintongan trail recently.

The trail is still very raw and not much marking from starting point to CP3. Many misleading animal track might lead you to different direction. This is not a highway trail like Gunung Datuk, Angsi, Berembun and no ticket counter. Basically all the way up and no view at the peak.

We started from car park crossing the river to find the trail but no marking found, continue follow a very raw trail and finally found some marking but unclear track all the way to CP3.

CP3 onwards all the way to the peak, the trail is a bit clear but still be careful of animal track. There is no view at the peak but it will be interesting once this trail linked up with Trans Seri Menanti in the near future.

We accidentally followed a different trail to Camp Lubuk Kuali while decent from the peak to almost near to CP3. Immediately we knew that we were in the wrong track but noticed that the ribbon marking is still very new although the trail is raw. We knew that this trail could lead us to Lubuk Kuali and finally after 45 minutes later we reached Lubuk Kuali.
