- From North-South highway towards Ipoh take the exit onto Simpang Pulai toll
- Turn right onto Jalan Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah towards Simpang Pulai town
- Turn right again on the traffic light toward Route A181 heading Cameron Highlands
- Turn right to Kampung Pos Slim and you could park your car there

Exploring Gunung Chabang Day Trip

Gunung Chabang with 1711 meters a.s.l. located in Pos Slim,
half way towards Cameron Highlands via Simpang Pulai Highway. The entrance of the trail is near the village
of Pos Slim from the bridge. The start of the trail is around 500m a.s.l.

If you are coming from Singapore, follow North-South Highway exist from Simpang Pulai Toll, Turn right towards Simpang Pulai town and turn right again towards Cameron Highlands. Drive another 20 KM you will see Kg. Pos Slim on your right. (N4.57039 E101.27902)
DeletePark your car before the bridge, the trail head started from the entrance of the Orang Asli Settlement.
Hike a mountain guide is recommended.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I understand, it doesn't require permit. Some.of my friends went without guide as well.
