The Trek
- Height : 7175 feet (2187 meter)
- Location : Taman Negara Sungai Relau (Merapoh)
- Usually it takes 4D3N
- Distance : about 13.2 KM (one way) from park to Kuala Juram via 4x4, referring to the GPS log about 16 KM from Kuala Juram to Gunung Tahan Summit (one way) hiking. (I am wondering why the distance base on GPS log is much different with the signboards. Forget about the distance show, referring to the time frame might allow you to judge the actual distance)

Hi
DeleteI will do my hike next march. Can you provide me some information?
1) Which agency do you go with?
2) Do you bring all your items + tent or did you get a porter to carry your group item?
Hi Wilson,
DeleteWe carried all items without porter by sharing of weight, foods, tents, general items etc...
Bring what you really need and avoid unnecessary items.
You could refer to http://www.tamannegara.asia/gunung-tahan/ on package info
Hi McHiker,

my email is limpeter7@hotmail.com

Just spoke to one of the pioneer who set up the trail, they using tape measure to calculate the distance from the starting point which is kuala juram.so there must be the different between actual reading n gps reading.
