Exploring Bukit Kodiang@Mok Cun
December, 10 2018
Bukit Kodiang is located in Kampung Kodiang lama nearby Kodiang KTM Station with the height of 140 meter a.s.l. The distance just less than 1 KM (about 500~600 meter) maybe but require 30~60 minutes to reach to peak. (Depends on personal fitness and rock climbing skill).
I planned a northern trip with my family and start searching the Place Of Interest in Kedah and Perlis, I was impressed by some pictures posted in FB with great view of paddy field from the view point of this mountain. I guess it will give a great impression and unforgettable memories to my children from top view of paddy field but one section of the track require technical skill of climbing.
All the way ascent with marking and rope on stage one. I had a short discussion with the kids whether to proceed to stage two or not as it require almost 90 degree rock climbing. Suddenly I saw two guides assisting some hikers climbing down and that's the most challenging part. The guide offered me that he could accompany the kids for the rock climbing section and assist them to the view point. Thanks Encik Din and Pijan for the help.
